Sheryl Underwood is a comic, host of a television show, as well as an actor in the United States. She is best known for her work as The Talk's morning co-host. She was brought up by Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is from a troubled family. She spent most her childhood taking care of her sister Frankie. Frankie was a polio sufferer. She faced a lot of issues with her mother when growing to. Sheryl asserts that, in an instance, her mother knifed her father when he became too intimate with her. Sheryl enlisted in the military upon her graduation from college. However, her love for comedy was always there. She was selected as the first ever female finalist in the Miller Lite Comedy Search, which was held in 1989. She started her TV career in 1992 when she was a regular actor on the HBO comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000 she appeared as host of the television talk show Oh Drama!
