Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, was raised in Wellington) is an Canadian actress from Canada. Paquin is a Canadian as well as a New Zealand actress. She was born in Winnipeg but brought up in Wellington She was the first actress to appear as a character in The Piano. In this romantic drama, she was 11 years old, Paquin won her second Oscar for Best Actress. Anna Paquin's full name was Anna Helene Paquin. Born on July 24, 1982, at Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, she was an Canadian birthed New Zealand actress. As as a young girl, she was awarded an Academy Award for best support actress. When she answered an audition call, she won the role in the role of Flora McGrath, the daughter of a mute Scottish pianist who relocates into New Zealand in mid-19th-century to be married. The actress was just nine, and she had no previous experience as an actor. As a teenager her family relocated to the United States. Paquin started her acting career when she was a kid, with the role of the Jane Eyre title character in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre as well as a major part on the film Fly Away Home. Paquin was in the role of Frankie Addams, a character in Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding in 1997. In Steven Spielberg's Amistad in 1997 her character was the Spanish queen in a smaller character. She was a teenager on the screen in Hurlyburly (1998) She's All That (1999) as well as A Walk on the Moon (1999) and played the groupie Polexia Aphrodisa on the screen in Almost Famous (2000).
